The intern will contribute to the design process by reviewing client's engineering and construction specifications, assisting with design reviews and construction package development.
Field opportunities will include data collection, the identification of conflicting utilities, work permit development, project tracking and scheduling.
Will have an opportunity to contribute to civil design work as Engineering Technician for yard structures, site grading plans, erosion and sediment control, elevation drawing, rigid bus analysis, masonry block design, building design.
This position will be a member of a multi-disciplined design engineering team supporting EPC Power project for utility clients nationwide.
Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
Familiarity or exposure to Civil/Structural analysis tools such as STADD, LPile, MAT3D or related
Familiarity or exposure to MicroStation, AutoCad or related design software
Strong analytical and technical writing skills
Can work effectively in a team environment or individually
Proven ability to communicate with clients and project team members
Has excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
