Purpose & Objectives

The Digital Platforms Communications management Intern will assist in building, launching and moderating SAP Digital Platforms communication channels. The intern will be responsible for creating excitement and driving engagement relevant to each channel, namely Digital Platforms Jam group and Program based UX MS Teams Channel. The role requires editorial, writing and support, targeted communications, content curation and creation for channel and group members, and key stakeholders. The intern will also support new user orientation, enablement, and deliver ongoing value to create awareness, understanding and drive adoption and growth.

The intern will work with PMO Change Management and Communications lead, SAP.com Experience Lead, Web product and services owners and Global program leads. He or she will also work with a network of content and tool managers to optimize the way messaging and content is delivered to our internal Marketing, IT-Customer Experience and, IES audiences.

In addition, in light of unanticipated communications priorities like Quarterly Business Reviews, CIO Spotlights or Factsheet reporting cycles and other transformation initiatives, or ethics and compliance projects, the intern will help the team with internal communications where needed.

Expectations & Tasks

Assist the CM/Comms lead with writing, content selection and new content curation
Ensure the timely approval of messaging and content, master brand tools and imagery, and layout templates relative to Digital Platform Release or other needed Communications.
Continuous management and moderation of Digital Platforms Jam and UX channels
Help activate and engage users via targeted communications.
Create/distribute material, interview or survey, poll to understand sentiment of current and new audiences
Understand Corp. Communications guidelines, policies and tools and generate reports to evaluate communications and channel performance to drive continuous growth, engagement, and innovation
Understand foundations of change management including, ways to reinforce and reward audiences as needed.
Help with unanticipated priorities and assignments as needed.

The SAP Digital Platforms Intern will become an expert in Customer Experience communications integrated business and technical messaging, communication tools, and gain exposure to a great range of teams across the business. He or she will gain basic UX knowledge, sharpen project management skills, and learn how customer experience impacts the bottom line of an organization.
