Overview:
The internship will be a 10 week role supporting the Marketing department with event management, digital and social media marketing. The intern will assist with the implementation of marketing initiatives for Chevy Chase Trust in a professional, collaborative environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist in the planning, coordination and implementation of marketing events and activities under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer including:
  • Coordinate the logistics and communicating with event directors at venues
  • Manage event volunteers
  • Coordinate and copy edit save the date notices, invitations, reminders, and confirmations to all events
  • Track RSVPs, respond to client question via email and phone calls

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
  • Ability to be resourceful while completing tasks and projects
  • Desire to work collaboratively in a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and successfully manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)

EDUCATION / LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
  • A current student or recent graduate of a Business or Marketing program from an accredited college or university preferred
  • 3.0 GPA or higher

Overview:
The internship will be a 10 week role supporting the Marketing department with event management, digital and social media marketing. The intern will assist with the implementation of marketing initiatives for Chevy Chase Trust in a professional, collaborative environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Assist in the planning, coordination and implementation of marketing events and activities under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer including:
  • Coordinate the logistics and communicating with event directors at venues
  • Manage event volunteers
  • Coordinate and copy edit save the date notices, invitations, reminders, and confirmations to all events
  • Track RSVPs, respond to client question via email and phone calls
  • Arrange for appropriate signage for events
  • Create event briefs, detailed reports and final to-do lists
  • Write confirmations and post-event summaries and client thank yous
  • Assist with internal employee events
  • Prepare presentations for prospective client meetings
  • Copy-edit material including, but not limited to: website pages, employee bios, one-pagers, blogs, advertisements, signs and emails
  • Support the digital and social media marketing initiatives including:
  • Track and present weekly social media analytics
  • Draft blog posts about firm events including charitable events
  • Conduct training for firm staff regarding appropriate social media use
  • Research social media use by target audiences
  • Post Investment Updates, one-pagers, new hires and events on social media platforms
  • Research LinkedIn opportunities to improve sales and marketing, including CCT employee profiles, LinkedIn ads, and other best practices
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing department
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
