We are seeking motivated college students with excellent written and oral communication skills for a paid Fall internship. Ideal candidates will be in their junior or senior year, majoring in Communications/Public Relations, Journalism, English, Psychology and Marketing/Integrated Marketing. imre’s program will introduce students to the world of Account management within an integrated marketing agency. Interns will have an opportunity to learn the business of marketing communications and be involved in daily account activities. Interns will be assigned to account teams that may support Social Media or Project-based scopes of work. Interns will gain experience in social media, event planning, market research and analysis, community relations, brand strategy and marketing communications.

TYPICAL DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Proofreading and editing to support account team with client deliverables
- Assisting with monitoring for social media mentions across various accounts as needed
- Conducting research to support efforts across accounts. Research may include researching outlets and media, researching trends and insights to support social accounts, looking into client competitors or backgrounds
- Social Media and/or Project-based activities that interns will support include assisting with social media research, editing or review of content, interfacing with imre’s in-house Creative team to facilitate project management, conducting competitive research, and participating in brainstorms.
- Industry-specific activities that interns will support include developing, annotating and reviewing MLR submissions, drafting blog posts for the imre Health website, developing video storyboards, and observing live MLR reviews.
imre EXPECTATIONS FOR INTERNS INCLUDE:
- Time commitment of 16 hours per week, so that students have the chance to get involved with in-depth account work (must fall within our core business hours which are M-F 8:30-5:30)
