  • Rotate through the Human Resource division of the Shipley Group – recruiting and hiring, development, benefits, compensation, and safety
  • Become knowledgeable of each of these functions and understand the impact they have on the business
  • Attend and participate in Human Resource training
  • Develop HR metrics to improve organization
  • Track and record details in Kronos HRIS
  • Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and conducting orientation
  • Prepare materials for orientation
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Participate on Wellness Committee
  • Develop and implement initiatives for the wellness program
  • Conduct New Team Member Orientation
  • Other duties as assigned by members of the Human Resources Department


  • Eligibility: Open to undergraduate sophomores, juniors and seniors attending accredited colleges and universities.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Committed to the values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity, and innovation
  • Proficient in computer technology including Microsoft Applications
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
