- Rotate through the Human Resource division of the Shipley Group – recruiting and hiring, development, benefits, compensation, and safety
- Become knowledgeable of each of these functions and understand the impact they have on the business
- Attend and participate in Human Resource training
- Develop HR metrics to improve organization
- Track and record details in Kronos HRIS
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and conducting orientation
- Prepare materials for orientation
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Participate on Wellness Committee
- Develop and implement initiatives for the wellness program
- Conduct New Team Member Orientation
- Other duties as assigned by members of the Human Resources Department
Requirements:
- Eligibility: Open to undergraduate sophomores, juniors and seniors attending accredited colleges and universities.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Committed to the values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity, and innovation
- Proficient in computer technology including Microsoft Applications
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
