Marquis firmly believes it is strong leadership within our Nursing departments that keeps us successful. And, while leadership is easy to explain, leadership is not always easy to practice. Leadership is about behavior first, and skills second. The basis of Marquis’ philosophy is the respectful treatment of other people and it is the platform upon which everything else is built. Get the philosophy right and the foundation is strong. Throughout the Internship Program we will strive to identify and cultivate that philosophy along with the natural talents of our future leaders. This is achieved by exposing our Interns to experiential learning and mentoring.
