Atlas Research is seeking a Web Developer to handle all aspects of the modern software development lifecycle related to application development. Work with Human Centered Design team members to define and implement efficient, intuitive user interfaces (UI) and effective user experiences (UX). Software Engineer Internship

Atlas Research is seeking a Web Developer to handle all aspects of the modern software development lifecycle related to application development. Work with Human Centered Design team members to define and implement efficient, intuitive user interfaces (UI) and effective user experiences (UX). Analyze user requirements and translate those requirements into functioning software modules that execute on web servers or cloud-hosted environments. Leverage expertise from the Atlas Research Digital team, including data scientists, UX and UI designers, and illustrators to resolve clients’ technical issues.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Computer science or related field with at least 1-3 years of experience
  • Solid understanding of HTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
  • Working knowledge of fundamental software algorithms and process flows
  • Working knowledge of Agile/DevOps methodologies
  • Solid verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work in the US without sponsorship indefinitely
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in federal healthcare industry a plus
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Django, C#, and node.JS
  • Experience with statistical tools such as R, Matlab, or SaS
  • Experience using cloud-based tools and environments such as Jira
  • Experience consuming or developing web services
