JOB SUMMARY:

Prepare for an exciting and fast paced career in Healthcare Communications. In this internship you will have the opportunity to development and implement internal communications strategies for the East Region to drive employee engagement and enable the flow of actionable information to over 5,000 employees in the East Region. The position is part of the East Region Communications team, working closely with the Human Resources and the East Region Senior Leadership Team. He/she will work with key HR and Senior Leaders to develop and execute communications tactics relative to major employee engagement initiatives, including but not limited to our culture, change management, inclusion/social responsibility and other areas of employee relevance. This role will report to the Manager, Communications, East Region.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent; some college desired in field of Corporate Communications, Mass/digital Communications, Public Relations, Journalism and/or the like.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Technology and digital media savy
Preferred experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Constant Contact, Marketo, Mailchip, SalesForce, EzTexting, etc. but not necessary
  • Successful experience with managing multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to interact with various departments within the organization and communicate to various management levels.


Monday-Friday / 40 hours / week 8 AM - 5 PM
