JOB TITLE: Intern, Communications
The Communications Intern will support the development and execution of internal and external communications for a global, dynamic organization. The individual in this global role will help support programs and initiatives that engage, align and inspire employees at Cooper and enhance our brand.
- Plan, write, edit a variety of communication materials across various communications mediums, such as an intranet site, company website, newsletter/magazine publications, video scripts, presentation decks and all-employee emails.
Assist with internal and external communications projects and deliverables, including quarterly meetings, newsletters, social and web content, intranet story creation, employee engagement projects.
- Support Corporate Social Responsibility and Global Wellness initiatives, messaging and content.
Project coordination and administrative activities including event planning.
Administration and support with communications on the intranet/internet sites.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- A successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent project coordination and communication skills, and the ability to be flexible, multi-task and adapt to competing demands.

- Normal office environment
- Current college student, majoring in communications, marketing, public relations or journalism
Junior or Senior year or working towards a post-graduate degree
- High proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), iMovie, SurveyMonkey, WordPress, Google Analytics preferred
Experience with social media platforms preferred
