The Microsoft Technology Center is searching for a passionate and energetic Software Engineering Intern to help us develop, research and analyze machine learning frameworks running on Intel platforms.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with machine learning experts in our community and help make a difference in this exciting and evolving space. We are on a mission to bring the best machine learning experiences on Intel technologies and need your help to enable new hardware capabilities, conduct performance analysis and develop algorithms for efficient inference execution.
Your responsibilities may include the following:
- Code prototyping with C/C++ for efficient machine learning model execution
- Scripting for automation of performance testing and validation of machine learning model execution
- Analyze performance and compile reports on findings

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Must be pursuing a Master or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 12 months experience with:
- Machine learning
- Scripting (Python)
