Job Summary

Contribute to Sanford operations and processes while obtaining first hand experiences that align with the mission, vision, and values of the organization. Supply Chain Analytics internship description:

Support supply chain initiatives through working with different operational teams, identifying areas for improvement, and building processes and tools to create efficiencies. Working environments will vary from office, warehouse, and sterile processing.

Internship responsibilities:

Review and enhance standard work documentation to be included within Sanford Success recurring education

Provide analytical support for building tools around setting proper reorder points and economic order quantities for warehouse and par locations

Recurring 1-on-1 touch-base/mentor sessions, department training

Observe current supply chain workflows and processes

Identify opportunities for opportunities for improvement through process change

Identify opportunities for supportive tools

Ad-hoc project support

Intern qualifications:

Strong communication skills

Attention to detail and ability to organize detailed information

Understanding of statistical concepts and their applications

Must be a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or an immediate graduate having received one of the previously listed majors.

Must be able to commit to the hours scheduled during the 12-week internship.

Qualifications

Current enrollment or recent graduate of an Associate or Bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
