The Opportunity:
The Marketing Intern position offers the chance to gain exposure to many different areas of Marketing and Strategic Communications at a quickly growing startup. This per credit internship will provide experience working on projects in a wide variety of Marketing related disciplines including Guerilla Marketing, Partnerships & Community Scouting and Social Media Marketing. This internship will last approximately 3 months (June - August 2020). Candidates should be able to commit to 35-40 hours per week.

The Opportunity:
The Marketing Intern position offers the chance to gain exposure to many different areas of Marketing and Strategic Communications at a quickly growing startup. This per credit internship will provide experience working on projects in a wide variety of Marketing related disciplines including Guerilla Marketing, Partnerships & Community Scouting and Social Media Marketing. This internship will last approximately 3 months (June - August 2020). Candidates should be able to commit to 35-40 hours per week.

Essential Functions (included but not limited to)

  • Research potential partnership opportunities
  • Function as a brand ambassador for KettleSpace and network with NYC colleges and universities
  • Support marketing manager with monitoring digital content platforms
  • Contribute to social media coverage as needed at our ongoing community events and day-to-day activities at our work spaces
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team with activating street teams and guerilla marketing.

Qualifications

  • Preferably a Junior or Senior in college, pursuing a Marketing or Communications degree
  • Must be a team player with ability to prioritize
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Some experience in an office environment preferred
  • Ability to work up 15-20 hours/week for approximately 3 months
  • Must currently be able to perform duties out of our Manhattan office
