Job Description

We are a small, dynamic, rapidly growing company offering business development and marketing services in the clinical research industry. The Business Development Intern will support and report to director of Business on any ongoing projects for clients and internal projects.

The Business Development Intern’s main objective is to support the Business Development Team with administrative tasks including calendar management, client communication, and proposal development. Other responsibilities will include content generation, copyediting for client facing presentations, and agenda/minutes formulation for meetings.

Job Functions/Responsibilities: Client projects

· Responsible for supporting Business Development director and therapeutic strategy leads in daily responsibilities and ongoing projects

· Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients

· Liaise with internal managers to handle requests and queries

· Assist in developing content strategy for internal and external projects

· Assist Project Mangers in tailoring strategies to meet individual clients needs

· Identifying and researching potential client contact information from pharmaceutical companies and reaching out to schedule meetings

Job Functions/Responsibilities: Internal

  • Planning & Participating in Internal meetings and taking detailed minutes
  • Populating & Managing Spreadsheets using Excel & Salesforce
  • Use of Salesforce software to update Business Development leads and pull reports as needed

· Internal documents

· Client Proposals

· Attend internal meetings to review projects and accept delegated tasks

· Finding opportunities for speaking roles, webinar opportunities, and prospective PR channels

Skills & Qualifications

· Undergraduate Junior, Senior or Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year University or College

· 1-2 years’ experience in marketing, advertising or similar field

· Ability to work on multiple activities simultaneously

· Ability to work well under minimal supervision

· Experience with Microsoft Office

· Experience with Salesforce a plus

· Must exhibit confidence and eagerness to progress and grow company initiatives
