The primary vision of our founders wasn't about making quick money. It was about inventing new technologies that would truly benefit people, and creating a culture where innovation and teamwork are valued above all else. Playing for the long run. Achieve this, and good things usually follow.

Better sound is just the beginning. We're passionate engineers, developers, researchers, retailers, marketers, analysts … and dreamers. One goal unites us—to create products and experiences our customers simply can't get anywhere else.

The GBS Mission is to improve employee productivity and enterprise value by delivering standard, scalable and user-friendly business processes and services. For the last 3 years, our GBS organization has played a key role in achieving the Bose vision by executing a strategy that streamlines end-to-end processes allowing employees to focus on value-add activities. As a relatively new and still evolving organization, candidates will have an opportunity to influence new processes that will benefit employees across the globe.

We have an exciting employment opportunity within GBS to join our Summer Internship Program. This 3-month program will give you a chance to gain the inside track on a unique and rewarding experience. Our goal is to make your internship experience exciting, meaningful, and a valuable opportunity to learn about the consumer electronics industry, our GBS Team, and Bose in particular. You will enrich your classroom work with a real-life perspective and develop valuable skills necessary to succeed after graduation.

Examples of responsibilities include documentation of current state processes, identifying opportunities for process improvement through data analysis and stakeholder interviews, designing future state processes, special project work, and ad hoc requests as needed. Each intern is expected to lead and complete a capstone project, which you’ll present to Senior Management towards the end of your internship. Interns will also get visibility and network with employees in all end-to-end processes within GBS (Account-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Hire-to-Retire).

As an intern you’ll have the opportunity to take advantage of some benefits, such as organized social gatherings, professional development events, employee discounts on Bose products, use of the onsite gym, just to name a few…

The best candidates will thrive in varied dynamic business environments, demonstrate strong customer service orientation, attention to detail, an aptitude for working with financial systems, and will be comfortable working both independently and in teams. A passion for excellence and innovation are both a must.
