Project Objective: :
Identify and develop effective retention practice / policy for Human Resource, Safety and Training documentation. This includes physical and electronic data for the employee and the organization.

Major Tasks: :
  • Research and recommend specific retention requirements for all applicable documentation according to legal and industry best practice.
  • Transition paper documentation to identified best practice for department
  • Establish retention system and procedures for effective storage and destruction over time
  • Support People Development with data management
Desired Final Product or Outcome:
Record Retention Policy approved and implemented by the company. Filing systems updated to the new standard and storage area established to maintain policy

**All Interns will present a power point presentation on what they have learned through their summer internship program.
