Position Description:

Join the HR Team that successfully works to protect America’s National Parks!

National Parks Conservation Association HR Intern will support the HR department by providing recruitment assistance, administrative support, benefits coordination, and serve as lead for the Intern Connectivity project helping to keep NPCA past and current interns connected. He / She will work closely with the Senior Coordinator of Human Resources on new hire orientation; create new employee folders; maintain those folders, place internal and external electronic advertisement; track cost of ads; and coordinate pre-employment background investigations.

Undergraduate or graduate students with an interest in Human Resources, Behavior and Social Science, Business, Public and Community Health, or Communications.

Student must be highly customer service oriented; have strong proficiency using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with ADP databases a plus.

Employee Status: Part-time/Full-time 15-37.5 Hours per week

Work Schedule: Flexible; office open 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri
