American Greetings is looking for an intern to assist in our Supply Chain Department. The Order Management Intern position at American Greetings provides an opportunity for students to gain first-hand experience to the challenges of executing core business functions critical to the success of American Greetings. During the course of the internship, the intern will partner with cross functional departments and have exposure to project-based assignments. The intern will participate in meaningful work assignments to develop both business and technical skills.

This is a ten-week, paid summer internship beginning in June located at our world headquarters, American Greetings Creative Studios, in Westlake, Ohio.

The intern will also have the opportunity to participate in all of the activities sponsored by the corporate intern program such as lunch-n-learns with senior management.

Essential Duties:
Conduct data analysis with the ability to present findings and make recommendations
Learn Order Management and Supply Chain functions

Experience Required:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong analytics, problem solving and math skills
Ability to demonstrate proficient communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently
Ability to grasp problems quickly
Strong PC skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Access preferred

Education Required:

Undergraduate (preferably rising Sophomore/Junior) students in Supply Chain, Operations Management or Logistics
