Job Description:

Position Summary:

The HR Business Services Intern at Cooper Standard will have the opportunity to gain industry experience and have exposure to many aspects of the HR Function, as well as provide support to the Business Services team on day-to-day activities and projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Day to day activities
  • Learn HR Business Services processes
  • Learn how to execute transactions managed by HR Business Services and support activities as needed
  • Support Call Center and HR Portal rollout
  • May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description

Education and Qualifications:

  • Junior level student
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field at an accredited university
  • Minimum GPA 2.8
  • Must be able to work from our Novi location
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office – especially Excel
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Must be detail oriented and possess excellent follow-up skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary
