We are looking for a talented Software Engineering Intern who will be part of a team that designs industrial test equipment, primarily for the transportation industries. The position will be involved in a variety of activities related to the software development life-cycle, and will be given the opportunity for significant interaction with the development team and end-users.

Main Responsibilities Include

  • Assist with software development and test in the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET environment
  • Offer creative and suitable solutions to design challenges or flaws
  • Assist LINK Equipment Validation Technicians and Service Technicians with technical issues
  • Interact with team members and customer representatives

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with website creation in the Visual Studio environment (preferred)
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills including VBA
  • Basic understanding of hardware and software designs
  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written & interpersonal

Compensation Dependent upon Class Standing: $12 - $18/hour
