The Sales & Marketing Analytics & Reporting Team (SMART) within Sales Operations supports Sales Strategy and the frontline with business intelligence, analytics and reporting. We enable our stakeholders to make impactful business decisions by providing a daily pulse on the health of key performance indicators such as revenue and customer relationships. Our goal is to provide accurate, consistent and instantaneous data to the fingertips of the Sales organization allowing them to focus entirely on coaching and selling in the field.
You will develop strategic thinking and analytical acumen working on an end-to-end reporting project beginning with data enablement to visualization while being supported by senior staff members. You will develop your analytics and reporting acumen using a variety of tools such as SQL, MicroStrategy, MS Office, OBIEE, Tableau and others.
§ Performs data analysis - Gathers and compiles data used for identifying business trends
§ Performs reporting & visualization - Creates visualizations of extracted data
§ Distills key business insights from large data sets and Enterprise Data Warehouse
§ Project Management - Completes assignments to support project objectives
§ Influences critical business decisions through analysis and modeling
§ Works closely with Sales and Sales Strategy to ensure quality and consistency of messaging
§ Identifies and utilizes opportunities to increase efficiency and improve team processes
o Currently enrolled in a related degree program such as Business Administration / Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, etc.
o Requires basic skills and experience with handling data with integrity through a variety of tools (experiences like: Excel-based analysis; MS Access-based databases & queries, etc)
o Basic skills and experience with SQL
o Strong background in data engineering & data analysis
o Highly organized, detailed oriented, and fast learner
o Strong in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
o Attention to detail and ability to meet project timelines through good time management and workflow prioritization
o Superior oral and written communications skills
o A positive attitude, determination and humility
o All majors encouraged to apply, Industrial Engineering & other analytics-heavy majors are preferred
o Intermediate to advanced analytic skills
o SQL and Tableau are highly preferred
o Basic skills and experience with data modeling, data architecture, and data warehousing techniques
o Basic skills and experience with data preparation & transformation using SQL
o Prior internship experience in a corporate environment is preferred
