Rate of Pay: $22/hr

As an Intern you will:

  • Assist the SEO team in the management and optimization of Sephora’s Organic Search marketing program. The role is responsible for researching and writing on-page optimizations for, playing a direct role in helping increase Sephora’s organic visibility.
  • Monitor and QA search landing pages for relevancy
  • Get exposure to cross-functional teams. Sephora has a highly collaborative culture so you are encouraged and expected to work closely with other related teams such as Site, CX, Community, Organic Social, Campaigns and Content, and Paid Media
  • Contribute to Sephora’s content and local SEO strategy by optimizing on-page content and writing copy
  • Perform competitive research and website audits
  • Research the latest beauty, skincare and wellness trends to inform content strategy
  • Assist in reporting and technical audits
  • Develop, grow, and have fun

What you will accomplish:

  • Lead or assist on projects using a hands-on approach
  • Learn from the best in the industry by interacting with a dynamic team of digital marketing professionals
  • Competitive, performance and technical analysis using a variety of Analytics and Enterprise level tools
  • Understand the role of SEO in the Digital Media mix
  • Develop a solid understanding of Digital Marketing, content creation and off-site promotion.

To help ensure success, we are requiring the following characteristics, skills and experiences:

Education and experience:

  • Currently working on completion of Bachelor’s degree in related field in Business, Creative Writing, Marketing, or Communications and is currently a junior or senior in credit hours
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to gather insights and draw conclusions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment

  • Taking initiative in problem solving and out of the box thinking
  • Adaptable to a variety of tasks and projects

Time Commitment:

  • Hours: 40 (expected to be physically in the office 5 days every week during standard business hours)
