Job Role and Responsibilities:

As well as working for one of the best technology companies in the world, under the leadership of the best CEO (voted by Glassdoor), you will have the opportunity to join the AMER Benefits team in planning for the 2021 benefits plan year, including developing employee communications and coordinating benefit fairs throughout the US. We have a talented and collaborative team of benefit professionals. Our goal is to provide the Coordinator practical business exposure and relevant benefits expertise to aid in their career development. You will collaborate closely with a team of experienced benefit professionals, internal partners/other stakeholders. Your day-to-day exposure includes learning about the VMware benefit plans and developing the communications campaign for the 2021 benefits Open Enrollment event. In addition, as part of the Open Enrollment event, you will schedule and coordinate multiple benefits fairs across the US for our employees. The fairs will include the US benefits carriers, providers and partners. This Open Enrollment project will include developing the digital marketing campaign, website communications and working with agencies to design marketing collaterals that aligns with our global branding guidelines.

Required Skills:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Benefits Administration or relevant field of study.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including good communication with the ability to articulate ideas in a precise and concise manner
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to multitask and navigate through ambiguity
  • Work well in an environment that is fast-paced and constantly changing

Preferred Skills:

  • Passion for employee benefits
  • MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships working with cross functional teams
  • High level of accountability and integrity
