Description

Arcadis is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer Intern for our Atlanta, GA, office to assist Engineers, Scientists, and Project Managers with tasks associated with data analysis and business intelligence.

This position will support multiple clients and project teams. The candidate will have demonstrated experience in information management, dashboard design, web development, databases, scripting, and automation. It is preferred candidates have experience with the Microsoft tools and technologies such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL server, and Azure SQL.

Responsibilities
Creates Dashboard for reporting purposes using MS Access, Excel, SQL Server and Oracle Analytics Cloud
Monitoring and maintenance of data loads and refreshes
Responsible for the detailed consultation and implementation of the required data analytics solution
Understand internal clients’ needs and propose appropriate analytical solutions
Effectively working with data and configuration of different tools or applications to meet specific internal client objectives
Support in the development of an overall strategy- and execution plan for managing the overall Analytics transformation process and the implementation of Analytics technical capabilities within the company
Provides quality checks on data
Translates raw data files to efficient queries and tables

Key Attributes:
Experience in Data Analytics & Reporting, ETL processes (Data Extraction/Transform/Load), and data models.
Proficient with Business Intelligence Tools such as Power BI or Oracle Analytics;
Able to use Power Query on an advanced level
Strong experience in Power Apps or web development
Understands relational databases, and able to effectively use joins, functions, etc.
Able to translate business questions to state-of-the-art reports using Drill throughs, KPIs, Chart vs Table, Ink-to-Information ratio, Use of measures
Excellent spoken and written English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with advance reporting techniques (SQL, VBA, report automation)
Knowledge of Git
Strong experience with at least one of the following technologies: Python, JavaScript, R, PowerShell, Go, or .NET Core
Strong experience of database design (relational and NoSQL)
Some experience on Azure Cosmos DB is preferred

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in computer science or other closely related field

Prior internship or related experience
