What are we looking for?
The New York Life Long-Term Care (LTC) team is looking for a Marketing and Communications intern who will support numerous responsibilities within the area, including:
- Managing virtual seminar registration process and invitation for several concurrent events
- Gathering, analyzing and reporting on the virtual seminar and email performance
- Assisting in the creating of a blueprint for an online LTC Education Center
- Assisting in the creation of material for nurture campaigns and general content creation
- Must be a rising Junior or Senior from an accredited university or college
- Have held leadership roles or significantly contributed to campus or community extracurricular activities
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and concepts
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience in research and analysis (including data analysis)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Throughout the summer, the intern will gain an understanding of the long-term care insurance industry, a basic understanding of the LTC product lines, and how the products serve unique market needs.
The 10-week internship will run from Monday, June 1, 2020 through Friday, August 7, 2020 at the New York Life office in Austin, TX. This is a paid internship, and the intern's supervisors will complete a review at the end of the program to provide professional development feedback.
