Intern, Internal Audit
As part of your 3 month summer internship, you will work closely with the Internal Audit Team based in Duluth, Georgia and assist the team in completing various operational and financial audits as well as supporting the team in internal projects.
Mid-May till mid-August
Perform financial and operational audits to identify concerns, opportunities, and best practices in collaboration with the other internal auditors in a multinational team.
Perform remediation follow up to monitor adequacy and timely completion of remediation plans.
Recommend new or modified procedures that improve efficiency or compliance to mitigate risk or loss.
Utilize the Internal Audit documentation software for all audit documentation and reporting.
Utilize data analytics in selected audits.
Assist with collecting and updating project status reports.
Assist with presentation materials.
Cooperate with independent auditors and provide data in support of external audits as needed.
Execute the work in compliance with Internal Audit's quality standards and department and company policies.

Intern must possess Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
Intern must be able to decipher various types/forms of data and convert to meaningful information for end users.
May require travel up to 25% of the time.
