This full-time role will involve:

1. Working closely with the software development team and devops team lead to support the production pipeline and any new ETL/Web app architecture improvements

2. Working closely with Kalibri Labs team members seeking IT help, providing technical assistance, and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware


  • Troubleshoot and resolve employee IT issues
  • Respond to IT queries via Jira Service Desk, chat, or email
  • Resolve problems with networks and other computer systems
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain all IT related software, security controls, WiFi network, and backup data for emergency recovery
  • Facilitate the installation, management, configuration, and monitoring of our cloud-based infrastructure
  • Help with system troubleshooting and problem-solving across ETL platform (Apache Airflow, Spark) and application domains (Nginx, Tomcat)
  • Suggesting architecture and process improvements
  • Evaluate new technology options and vendor products

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Familiarity with both PC and Mac hardware, software installation and configuration (drivers, imaging, etc.)
  • User account management (Active Directory, LDAP, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience supporting networked environments including wired, wireless, VPN, TCP/IP protocol, routing concepts, and basic networking (DHCP, DNS, etc.)
  • Experience supporting servers running one or more Linux operating systems such as: Red Hat/Centos, Debian/Ubuntu
  • Experience using a broad range of AWS technologies (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
  • Scripting and automation skills (Shell, Python, etc.)
  • Experience configuring and managing continuous integration systems (Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis CI, etc.)
  • Infrastructure automation experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform
  • Experience with version control systems (Git, Subversion, etc.)
  • Minimum 2 years of overall IT/Devops experience
  • High school diploma required
  • Should be curious, inquisitive, and have demonstrated a constant eagerness to learn through actions
  • Must have outstanding interpersonal and organization skills and effective oral and written communication skills
