About our Internship Program:

  • The Spring 2020 internship cycle takes place from January 2020 - May 2020.
This is an unpaid educational internship with the opportunity to receive college credit. Our interns gain a hands-on learning experience unparalleled in the classroom. As an intern, you will report directly into a supervisor and have the opportunity explore their career field of interest, gain in-house agency experience, acquire new skills for resume building, and establish vital career networks and mentors.

Human Resources Intern

NVE is seeking a Human Resource Intern to directly support the overall efficiency of the People & Community team. This role will be supervised by the People & Community Coordinator. Ideal candidate is a passionate self-starter with the desire to use this internship as a platform to kick-start their career in human resources.

  • Support all areas of HR including but not limited to talent acquisition, administration, training, and employee engagement
  • Participate in brainstorming, planning, and execution of special internal company events
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
  • Help manage the intern recruitment cycle: candidate engagement, pre-screening, and candidate pipelines
  • At the end of the internship, create a presentation for the HR team to summarize internship experience
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or Business
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Be currently enrolled in a college/university
  • Must have personal laptop/computer
  • Must be able to work in office at least 2 full days a week
  • Must be able to provide own transportation and lodging
