Customer Support Internship

Boehringer Ingelheim is currently seeking a talented and innovative Intern to join our BioMES department located at our BI Fremont facility. As an Intern, you will provide administrative support to the department, including maintaining, preparing, processing and filing records; compiling data and creating metrics / reports.

Duties & Responsibilities:


Develop and standardize an efficient filing and archival process (physically and systematically) for executed testing forms, master data change forms, and other miscellaneous documents for ease of file retrieval
Author filing / archival procedure.
Train team members on the filing / archival process.
File / archive the forms in accordance with the written procedure.
Store all paperwork in designated places securing the important documents
Enter paperwork into an electronic system by data entry
Produce accurate and standardized BioMES metrics with key insights to communicate system and process performance to MFG leadership team
Set up metric template for monthly metric generation


Requirements:


Must be an Undergraduate, Graduate, or Professional Student in good academic standing.
Must have completed 12 credit hours within a related major and/or other related coursework.
Overall, cumulative GPA (from last completed quarter) must be at least 3.000 (on 4.0 scale) or better (No rounding up).
Major must be related to the field of internship.

Desired Experience, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of filing systems
Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and office equipment such as photocopier, scanner etc.
Strong experience working with Excel
Good command of English both oral and written
Dependable with a respect to confidentiality and policies
Excellent organizational skills
Great attention to detail, quick learner, team player


Eligibility Requirements:

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
Must be 18 years of age or older
