As a 2020 Summer Intern with FIS, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 8, 2020 and conclude on August 14, 2020.
About The Team
The Client Education Team is responsible instructional design, development, maintenance and technical production of task/job-based client training on FIS products/solutions. They use state of the art tools, technologies, and methodologies to create standard and custom training programs in multiple modalities, including:
Traditional instructor-led courses
Virtual (webinar) courses (synchronous and asynchronous distance learning)
Self-paced course materials
Multi-media eLearning courses
Training Kits that support the client’s end user programs
What You Will Be Doing
Conduct and analyze training needs assessments following conventional instructional design methodologies
Interview business owners, business analysts, system developers, and other functional and technical personnel as part of the needs assessment
Develop a solid understanding of FIS products to complete task analysis and determine training requirements
Determine and document the appropriate instructional strategy and project scope based on a completed needs assessment
Review and accurately interprets technical documentation including use case scenarios, functional specifications, system specifications, and technical specifications as they pertain to course development
Design effective instructional materials, interactions, simulations and assessments to support the required instructional strategy
Interact with product managers, subject-matter experts, application development teams, business analysts, management, and others as needed to determine the scope of a project and to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of training programs
Create technical specifications for projects using approved templates and processes
Write, execute, and analyze usability studies and test plans related to course materials, elearning strategies, and learning management systems/client training portals
Design and develop criterion-based training assessments
Assess feedback from learners to evaluate and improve effectiveness of training
What You Bring
Rising Senior (graduating December 2020 through May 2021)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and communication skills
Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work well independently and within a team
