We are currently looking for a paid Research Assistant Intern to join our Marketing team in summer 2020 in Holland, MI.
Haworth’s Internship Program:
Haworth has a formalized intern program where you are part of a group of cross functional interns learning about the entire scope of business with weekly knowledge series events. You will be paired with a senior level professional in your area of the business. You will have responsibility for specific projects with goals, daily tasks, attending meetings and providing departmental support.
As a Research Assistant Intern you will:
Provide support primarily for quantitative research activities on a variety of topics concerning the intersection between workplace environments and knowledge work. Contribute to secondary research efforts and aspects of primary research including evaluation of study design, study coordination, data collection, and analysis for Human Performance Lab studies. Additional experience will include development of research-based marketing material of findings in coordination with Haworth Marketing. Do you have these required qualifications?
College student working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Neurobiology, Biology or Communications.
Completed Research Methodology course.
GPA of at least a 3.0.
Must be an active full-time student in the Fall of 2020 with at least Junior status.
Current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Able to work in Holland, MI without housing or relocation assistance. Do you have these preferred qualifications?
Experience with writing or administering surveys.
Experience using statistical software. Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Experience participating or running experiments.
