We are currently looking for a Supply Chain Intern to join our Logistics team in Summer 2020 in Holland, MI!
At Haworth, we have a formalized internship program where you will be part of a group of cross functional interns learning about the entire scope of business. You will be paired with a senior level professional and will have responsibility for both daily tasks and projects. As an intern within the Supply Chain and Logistics department, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, re-planning for recovery transportation, verifying shipment statuses, working directly with carriers. Do you have these required qualifications?
Current fulltime college student working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Computer Science or Business with at least a junior level status by Fall of 2020.
Overall GPA of at least 3.0
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Requires current and continuing right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Requires job seeker to be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation or housing assistance. Do you have these preferred qualifications?
Experience with SAP.
Experience with Transporation Management Systems.
Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheet applications and keyboard skills.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Project management experience a plus. Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
Effective written and oral communication, interpersonal skills.
