Marketing Internship

The Sales & Marketing Intern provides support to the High Concrete Group Sales and Marketing team. The Sales & Marketing Intern role requires an individual with a major in marketing, communication or a related field. The role also requires an individual with sound communication skills (both written and verbal).

Responsibilities

CRM Data Cleansing

  • Review all contacts and ensure information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Ensure all historical (last 3 years) and current projects have contacts associated with opportunities

CRM Portal Launch

  • Work with Marketing to create a customer communication plan
  • Launch to select customers to pilot the system
  • Work with the Marketing team to secure UX (user experience) data to enhance the process and training

Opportunities for Resume Building

  • Spend the day shadowing the VP of Sales and Director of Marketing
  • Have lunch with CEO and VP of Human Resources
  • Visit a project job site
  • Tour various High facilities, which may include: High Concrete, High Steel, the Service Center
  • Organize an activity to support our local community or other special intern events

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a major in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Required maturity and a high level of professionalism coupled with good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail, flexibility and good communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential
  • Must have a valid driver’s license in order to drive to company locations as part of intern activities. Travel normally requires use of personal vehicle to company locations
  • Must be comfortable and efficient working with diverse software for entering and organizing data and documents

Important Details:

  • This position reports to the VP of Sales
  • You will work in a professional office environment
  • Travel for special internship projects, special events or community involvement
  • You may be asked to wear PPE equipment in order to protect yourself at plant and job site visits. There may be exposure to chemicals, noise, dust and temperature changes when visiting plant or customer locations
  • You may be asked to participate in a case study or take an assessment
  • Interviews are held in-person, onsite in Denver, PA
