Essential Responsibilities: The marketing operations intern will gain a broad exposure to all areas of digital marketing operations such as: eMail marketing, SEO, websites, keyword research, research, social media, paid advertising, analytics, amazon marketing and more! In addition to aiding the marketing operations team with areas of digital marketing this intern will also gain a deeper understanding of import role marketing operations plays from an organizational, governance and maintenance standpoint.
The intern will:
Gain extensive knowledge about all areas of marketing operations
- Acquire multiple platform certifications and experience with PPC /analytics
Work with a robust SEO platform to gain insights for websites and how interpret them
- Attend marketing meetings along with marketing operations (and the Amazon team)
- Assist with social media platforms – social listening, content plans, etc…
- Research marketing trends
Learn the ropes of amazons online marketing platform & data optimization
Gain experience with KPI measurement, analytics and reporting
Aid with email marketing efforts, proofing and best practices implementations
Some clerical work (e.g. photocopying, printing and binding manuscripts, filing, email, note taking, etc)
Required Status: Must be a Fall 2020 College Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student
Education: Marketing, Advertising, Publicity majors
Industry Knowledge: Candidates should have a passionate interest digital marketing and analytics. General understanding of the Christian market or publishing industry is a plus, but not required.
