The Sales Operations Data Entry Specialist-Temporary is responsible for preparing data for data base entry by compiling and sorting information from various sources. The role will enter customer and account data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information and will maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
This is a temporary role with an assignment of approximately three to six months in length. Endicia’s Sales organization leads the company’s efforts to grow market share. The Sales team plays a key role in building loyalty and trust with our customers. Our developed and motivated Sales teams implement company strategies and business processes which ensure sales targets are maximized. The Field Account Manager team works directly with channel partners and internal company teams across the organization to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Primary Objectives:
  • Prepare and enter data for sales by compiling and sorting information.
  • Ensure the data in various objects is organized, accurate and formatted to company requirements.
  • Assist with various other tasks in with Sales Operations environment as needed
Essential Position Duties (typical monthly, weekly, daily tasks)
  • Prepare and enter data for sales by compiling and sorting information.
    • Extract relevant data sets to identify patterns.
    • Data entry using spreadsheets and SFDC database
    • Assemble and maintain sales databases from disparate data sources.
  • Ensure the data in various objects is organized, accurate and formatted to company requirements.
    • Deliver at minimum, weekly progress reports detailing tasked accomplished
  • Assist with various other tasks in with sales operations environment as needed.


Education and/or Experience:

  • Two years of college education in accounting or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous data entry experience

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Self-starter
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to complete tasks and projects with little to no supervision
Computer/Software/Application Proficiency:
  • Intermediate Excel Skills (formulas, vlookups, pivot tables)
  • Data cleansing experience
  • Experience working with large data sets is a plus
  • Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with tasks beneficial
