Guidepoint is looking for an entrepreneurial and outgoing individual to join its Insights business. The Insights product is a new offering for existing Guidepoint clients that offers teleconferences, in-person events and a call transcript library covering a wide of industries/topics that facilitate research. All content features experts from Guidepoint's proprietary global network and is developed by former investment professionals (i.e. private equity/hedge fund) and sell-side equity research analysts.

  • Work closely with two senior analysts in the Insights group to execute teleconferences, small group events, and surveys that will cover medical devices and healthcare services
  • Research, identify, and recruit appropriate key opinion leaders for topic specific calls and surveys
  • Master use of Guidepoint's proprietary CRM database to identify potentially relevant experts and track global client requests
  • Analyze large quantities of data from surveys into client-deliverable formats using SPSS, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Develop effective screening criteria for experts to test knowledge of teleconference subject matter
  • Proactively monitor pipeline of upcoming call topics so experts can be identified/selected 1-2 weeks before scheduled call date
  • Eventually research, create, and moderate conference calls and in-person round-tables with industry experts for clients and client events
  • Work on ad-hoc project requests
  • BS or BA degree from a top-tier university with minimum GPA of 3.0
  • 1-2 years of work experience at one or more of the following:
  • Healthcare or healthcare adjacent company
  • Healthcare focused position in advertising, finance, investor relations, marketing, or public relations
  • A research or market research position focused on healthcare
  • Financial services or equity research firm with a focus on healthcare
  • Outgoing personality with the ability to speak with people at all professional levels
  • Excel and PowerPoint skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work both individually and as part of a team
