The Account Manager Junior – This role will support the Sales teams leading the largest and most complex opportunities within the GAM organization. A successful individual will assist the team in developing prospecting information to enable a structured solution and sales strategy. Technical proposal crafting and data analysis will be a key function, ensuring the best possible quality in delivering written and oral presentations back to the customer. The team will work closely with the Director of the business unit in support of go to market programs and building out the overall business governance models. Remuneration for the role will also be directly linked to the team; the more successful the team the greater return to the individuals.

This role would be suited for an individual that is looking to move into a technical sales role and will give significant insight into the market and complex sales.
Job Description
  • Support documentation for customer proposals to ensure a professional approach including crafting responses based on the information provided by the supporting teams and analyzing data to ensure a high level of quality.
  • Research customers and markets to build a holistic view of an opportunity enabling the team to make better informed discussions.
  • Develop and implement actions to create additional opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell accounts to increase overall total customer spend with the company.
  • Assist in creating account plans and strategies to win new business from both new as well as existing customers.
  • Support the product and marketing organizations with messages and programs in the GAM organizations.
  • Learn and develop further knowledge of new technologies and selling points which includes enhancing expertise in the company's product application technologies.
  • Support leadership in delving programs to enhance the team and customer experiences.
Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce.com preferred. Understanding of network, hosting, security and managed services product offerings.
Education
Bachelors or Equivalent in Computer Science or Science
